I am building this for a demo video of the NeverMiss rat trap. I am building the trap in 3D Studio Max, and rendering in MetalRay. It is still in an early stage, but I wanted to track my progress.
These renders show the main mechanics of the trap, the loading cone is used to set the trap.

I am now working on the trap casing which is a very organic shape, so I am brushing up on my nurbs skillz.
My friend Erik just emailed me this illustration he created as a self promotion piece. I think it is pretty awesome! He used the 2600 version of Haunted House as the base.

He emailed these other illustrations as well, which he created a while back.

This beautiful letterhead was found in the “library/office” of the Sports Center 14 W. State Street in Savannah, GA. I love the text from the footer “Billiards – Snooker – Pocket Pool” and the phone number 4-2525. (Shows how old this is, only 5 digits!) I was lucky to inhabit this building from 1989 – 1996. I am going to submit this to Letterheady a neat blog about interesting letterhead.

My friends Jason Bratton (luckyfish.tv) and Scott Schroeder (psyche-digital.tv) just sent me these PhotoShopped pictures they made from the first official still of James Camron’s Avatar. They are hilarious. The top one is the original. We are all very excited about the movie but as Jason said in his email to me “I think the (photoshopped) responses express the anxiety we both feel from the initial image.” Please don’t suck Avatar.
