Low brow Mad Magazine tribute show in East Atlanta
Que me worry?
I scored this sweet rendition of a Dia De Los Muertos Alfred E. Neuman at the Mad Magazine tribute show in East Atlanta last weekend. The Gallery in East Atlanta hosts great low brow group shows regularly in EAV (East Atlanta Village). The latest of these tackles one of my favorite retro memories, Mad Magazine. More Pictures after the Link.

Chainsaw Chuck Spy vs. Spy
This Spy Vs. Spy by Chainsaw Chuck was my favorite piece. He has a MySpace page with his art and a site with t-shirts called Mad Tiki, but I’d like to see more of his canvases.
These other Spy Vs. Spy pieces by Big Toe where great also.

a shot of the gallery space.

Wow,
thanks Ivan. Ya know, I don’t know why I did that on illustration board. I have been doing canvasses for a while and guess I slipped into my own past on that one. You brought up a good point, I will recreate this on Canvas. Until then, please check out my MySpace, I bulletinned a new stretched canvas piece titled :
FOUR EYED SPACE SHIFTER. It’s for a CA based show.Or eMail me at chansawchuckxxx@yahoo.com and I’ll forward the image.
Take care, CC.
